A VISIT TO DAVID BACKHARM VILLAGE

Why i say David Backharm village?

    – When you are there, you walk on the street in the village, almost everybody come out from the houses ( even the dogs) and star at you . so, you are like David Backharm . Because they rarely see the people like you . They think that you are the people from movies. ( this village was destroyed by Gagis cyclone now, but we still can visit).

    – A visit to pottery village, make by hand ,not machine.

    - A visit to third biggest pagoda in the whole Myanmar.

-Day return trip from Yangon( capital of Myanmar)

    - Study a primary school ( students are 10 to 15 age). you can study how they study and if you want , they are welcome for your offering some books and pencils.)

    - I noly invite the people who want to see daily life of the village, and the people.

sounds great Min Thu! Good you made an advertisement on this side. I did hear your name as a very clever, intelligent guide, who shows the “hidden”places. When I come to Myanmar, I will surely make contact with you. Hope other travellers do the same. Have a good luck.

    Hello my friend,

Very good and clever idea to place an advertisement on this site. I wish you all the best!

    Dear people,

I certainly can recommend Min Thu as your guide in Myanmar. I met Min Thu in 2005 while I was travelling through Myanmar for one month. Myanmar was part of my 9-month tour through East Asia. I had hired Min Thu for 2 weeks and we had a great time together. Min Thu is a very intelligent, friendly and social guy. During our time in Myanmar we started a friendship which still lasts.
